Eagle is already premium tile, and we install plenty of it. Westlake Royal Building Products is the step above, and when a homeowner wants the top-shelf spec, this is what we reach for. Their plant is in Rialto too, the same backyard advantage: you can see and handle real product before locking anything in, instead of choosing a 50 year roof from a PDF.
Like all the concrete tile we install, Westlake's tile carries a Class A fire rating, the highest there is, and it shrugs off Inland Empire sun in a way asphalt never will. The profile and color range runs from Spanish barrel to flat modern looks.
What sets a Westlake roof apart is what goes underneath: TileSeal HT, the peel and stick underlayment sold under the Westlake Royal name. It is a self-adhering membrane installed on the deck under the tile, and its own material warranty runs 30 years (Owens Corning issues it). Here is why that matters: the tile protects the membrane, and the membrane is what actually stops the water. Westlake tile over the membrane sold to go with it is exactly the kind of matched system we like putting our 10 year labor warranty behind.
Same honest distinction we make on every tile job: if your existing tile is still good and only the underlayment died, you may not need new tile at all. That is a lift and relay, and it costs a lot less. We will tell you which one your roof actually needs, even when it is the cheaper answer.
TileSeal HT on a Real Roof
This is TileSeal HT going down on a lift and relay in Norco, August 2026. The homeowner's original tile is stacked on the roof in the same shot, waiting to go back down over it. That is what this product is for: the tile is fine, the underlayment underneath it is not, and the fix is new waterproofing without buying a roof's worth of new tile. A Westlake Royal Tile Replacement in Etiwanda
This one is finished. An Etiwanda home in Rancho Cucamonga had older Monier concrete tile in a profile nobody makes anymore, and the homeowner wanted a new look to go with a fresh paint job. People look at tile roofs and think the tile is the waterproofing. It is not. The underlayment is the layer that actually stops water, which is why we care so much about what goes under the tile you will never see.
