BusinessRate is a third-party rating site that scores local companies every month, based on their Google reviews. In its September and October 2026 rankings, GAX Roofing is #1 of 30 roofing contractors in Rancho Cucamonga. In our 91701 ZIP code, we've been #1 three months running: August, September and October. Here's what that score measures, what it doesn't, and who earned it.
BusinessRate builds its score from Google reviews and compares businesses in the same category and the same city. Going by its own explanation, the score has three parts:
In September and October our Review Quality score was a perfect 20 out of 20. Endurance is where we have the most room to grow, and the only way to grow it is to keep doing good work, month after month.
A ranking built on reviews is a good place to start a shortlist. It isn't a license check, and it doesn't tell you what a roofer is going to put under your shingles or tile. Before you sign with anyone, us included, check the license yourself and read the contract line by line. "The crew was also wonderful. Every one of the men was extremely polite and respectful, and they did an amazing job cleaning up after the project. They put everything back neatly and left our property looking great. Most importantly, the quality of the roof repair was amazing. You can tell that GAX takes pride in their work and truly cares about doing the job right."
"Gaxiola Roofing was great to work with. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free."
"Had my roof replaced by GAX Roofing here in Ontario and went with the Owens Corning COOL shingles. Arthur handled it personally and kept me updated the whole way. Crew showed up when they said they would and finished on schedule. What stood out most was the cleanup. No nails, no scraps, nothing left in the yard. Easy recommendation."
"Arthur came out and gave us a fair price for a cool roof with Owen's Corning materials. GAX took care of the permitting and the appointments for inspection. They paint the pipes to match the roof which was a nice touch. We'd recommend GAX as a roofing contractor, they're honest and do great roofs."
"I recently had my roof replaced by GAX Roofing for my house in El Monte, and I am really happy with the experience. The crew was very attentive to the details and did a great job. The owner was also very responsive and patient with all of my questions. They also sent me pictures of my roof before, during and after the project. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a roofer."
"We had a roof leak and want to give a big shout out to Art and the guys at GAX Roofing. He came over quickly, assessed the damages, and I had it fixed within a week. Their pricing is very reasonable and their workmanship was great. I would definitely use them again."
