IE's Roofing
Contractor

GAX Roofing is an Inland Empire company. We're based in Rancho Cucamonga and do the majority of our work across San Bernardino and Riverside County — the cities most people mean when they say "the IE." We know this market, we know these roofs, and we know what it takes to build one that holds up to 115°F summers and Santa Ana wind events.

The Inland Empire has a housing stock that skews toward 1980s–2000s tract development — tile roofs in the foothills, shingle in the flatlands, and a growing number of flat-roof additions and ADUs. Underlayment failures are the number one issue we see on IE tile roofs: the tiles themselves last 50–75 years, but the felt underneath dries out and fails in 20–25. If your home was built between 1985 and 2005 and hasn't had a lift-and-relay, it's worth a conversation.

Eagle Roofing Products has a showroom in Rialto — central IE — so homeowners replacing tile can see actual profiles and colors before committing. We use Eagle on most of our IE tile replacements. Arthur handles every estimate personally and manages every job from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you an Inland Empire roofing company?

Yes — GAX Roofing is based in Rancho Cucamonga and serves the IE as our primary market. We're not a company from outside the area that drives in for jobs. Call (909) 819-8394 to schedule a free in-home estimate.

What license do you hold?

California C39 Roofing Contractor license #1135657 — a specialty roofing license, not a general contractor license. You can verify it at cslb.ca.gov.

How much does a roof replacement cost in the Inland Empire?

Most IE residential replacements run $8,000–$20,000+ depending on roof size, material type, and current condition. We walk the roof and provide a detailed written estimate at no charge.

Do you do tile lift-and-relay work?

Yes — it's one of our most common jobs in the IE. Most tile roofs from the '80s and '90s need an underlayment replacement even when the tile itself is still good. We remove the tile, install new PSU30 rubberized peel-and-stick underlayment, and relay the original tile.
